The Church is not a building. The Church is a people. The Church is not an exclusive club. It is ever expanding. Each time someone decides to believe in Jesus and follow Him, they become part of the Church. Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He said The Father would send His Spirit to fill His people. Together, those people filled with His Spirit would be the body of Jesus here on the Earth. His body has become fragmented, yet his final prayer was that all of His followers would be one, as He and the Father are one in order that the world would come to believe in Him. It's time to Unite. Unite people back to God and Unite people back to each other. Unite the Church that the world may believe in Jesus.
IMAGINE WHAT OUR CITY WOULD LOOK LIKE IF FOLLOWING JESUS WASN'T ABOUT GOING TO CHURCH BUT WAS ABOUT BEING LIKE JESUS?
Before there were ever any big cathedrals and church buildings, the church followed the example of Jesus and met in homes and public places. At Unite we are doing our best to be as much like the early church as possible so we meet in homes through Supper Clubs for dinner and conversations about Jesus and we gather in the Riff at the Classic Rock Coffee Co. to celebrate Jesus and make room for others to experience His love, acceptance and forgiveness.

Vision
We envision being a face-face social space for people to connect with Jesus and each other. At Unite, everything is interactive. You can expect our gatherings to include having conversations about Jesus, opportunities to encounter Him through music, prayer and scripture, sharing stories about what God is doing in people’s lives, eating together and sometimes following up our gatherings with a fun game of Pickleball or Ping Pong.

SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION
As the transformational arm of Unite, the Underground is designed to cultivate relationships that help people follow Jesus and experience His transforming power in their lives through Doubters Clubs for those grappling with faith and Supper Clubs for those who want to grow in their faith. Additionally, we seek to connect people with resources to help them with the relational, emotional, mental and spiritual obstacles they face. Below is a list of opportunities to connect with various ministries that offer resources to help you overcome relationship crises, addiction, identity struggles and emotional trauma.

A 12-step faith-based program that helps individuals heal from a variety of hurts, hang-ups and habits. Hosted by Ridgecrest Baptist, Thursdays at 6pm. Light meal offered at 5pm. Kids Classes also provided (birth through teens).
Free Video series hosted by Jennifer Smallwood, of You Are Worthy Mininstries, that unpacks the character and attributes of God. Discover the truth about your identity as you come to know the one who created you.
The Church in Springfield has many faces, many logos, but one common mission unites them all, The Great Commission. To make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded. Together we are the body of Christ in Springfield, not competing with one another but praying for each other and united to see the city awaken to believe in Jesus.
