Dedicated to the Great Commission of Jesus, we believe the Church is His change agent for the world. As His representative body in the Earth, He has commissioned and empowered all of us to be a Kingdom of Priests to minister His love to a dark world. No part is more important than another. We use the Discovery Bible Study model in our gatherings as our primary method for multiplying disciples of Jesus.
Unite has three pillars to help us accomplish our vision. Those are UNITE NETWORK, UNITE INSTITUTE AND UNITE CHURCH.
Imagine having a genuine encounter and relationship with Jesus where you know Him personally. Knowing Jesus is foundational to the Christian experience. We gather with others to learn and discover him through reading His very words together and asking ourselves "What is Jesus saying to me through this scripture?"
Imagine if we were committed to actually obeying Jesus by the power of His Spirit? What if we were so aware and overwhelmed by God's love, acceptance and forgiveness that we were compelled to pay it forward by loving, accepting and forgiving others? We worship Jesus when we gather, thankful for His redeeming power, and seek to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey Him. We respond to Jesus by asking "How can I obey this scripture this week?" then we watch as the Holy Spirit transforms us from the inside out so we can show Jesus to the world around us.
Imagine if we became intentional about sharing Jesus with those around us and included them in our lives and helped them pass on what they learned to a few more? It wouldn't be long before hundreds of thousands of lives would be forever transformed. Each week we seek to identify someone in our lives we can share Jesus with and watch as the Holy Spirit guides us to new people that God is already at work drawing to himself.
After pioneering and pastoring Hope Chapel of the Valley in Winnetka, CA for 39 years, Pastor Jeff and Lisa Fischer felt the Lord calling them to "Go to Missouri". With little other direction than that, they packed up their son, Jeff's mom and thier dog and left everything behind in Los Angeles to follow that call. Two years later, Unite Church was born out of a small group of like-minded believers who all had a desire to make disciples who make disciples. To watch the Holy Spirit move among them and experience His power. To see the church in Southwest Missouri united that the world would believe in Jesus.
Our values drive everything we do. From the language we use to our methods for gathering together to the ways we reach out to the community and the church in Springfield. These are our drivers in a nutshell.

Jesus commanded His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations" and He empowered us all to do it by filling us with His Spirit. All believers are ministers, missionaries and disciple makers. We exist to multiply.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6)
Jesus said "if you love me, you will keep my commandments" (John 14:15) We seek to do more than just learn about Jesus but to actually obey Jesus' commands and model His love to a broken world.
"How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? But how are they to preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10:14-15)
UNITE NETWORK: serves as a ligament that connects the Body of Christ to each other with things like interdenominational pastor's prayer gatherings, as well as the Unite Worship Collective. Each of these serve to bring unity to the church in Springfield. The purpose is to fulfill Jesus' prayer in John 17:21 and that awakening would come as a result.
UNITE INSTITUTE: is the transformation arm of unite. Designed to offer courses and counseling to help people gain the spiritual
resources needed to overcome objections to faith, obstacles in relationships and emotional pain and suffering. The Institute also serves as a connecting point for people to other ministries in Springfield who offer these resources. Everything from addiction and recovery programs to grief and marriage counseling, to inner healing intensives, to opportunities to serve the city, the Unite Institute will seek to curate and cultivate transformational opportunities for people.
UNITE CHURCH: serves as the conduit for igniting a disciple making movement by having a laser focus on helping people Know Jesus, Show Jesus and Share Jesus and actively reaching out to those who haven't heard.

We believe this integrated approach of knowing Jesus, showing Jesus and sharing Jesus is what Jesus envisioned when He said "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you". There are two sides of catalyzing a prayer movement: First we must become people of prayer. Second, we need to mobilize people to pray. Personal prayer, intercessory prayer, fasting & prayer, and prayer walking.

"As a plan for the fullness of time to unite all things in Him, things in Heaven and things on Earth"(Ephesians 1:10 RSV) We seek to UNITE all who are willing to confess biblical faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
